Q is for.......

Quercus as in oak tree. There is a really really huge one at the Bridestowe Lavender Farm next door to my brother's farm. We're really lucky as the first farm was at Lilydale where I grew up and then moved to Nabowla, not far away from Bridport. I remember night time BBQ's with all of us from the shacks, ferried over with a half 44 gallon drum in the back of a ute for the BBQ. e used to have clod fights among the lavender!
No Photo of the Lavender farm is complete without the huge oak in it, or Mount Arthur in the background.
This is a small quilt I began many years ago in a Pam Holland class.

Due to having to use my and a weird way of writing blogs because Blogger has blocked the normal way and I don't have Picasa I can't place my photos where I want them.

Q is also for quite light due to the full moon last night. dreadful photo as I used my IPad, sighhhh!!!
Quite irritated as I can,t find it, anyhow, we've had a fire outside the last 3 nights as friends from my wine group came down. It was quite warm!
